Vegetarian Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
* Split Peas, 1.5 cup (remove) * Onions, raw, 1 large (remove) * Canola Oil, 3 tbsp (remove) * Salt, 1 tsp (remove) * Marjoram, dried, 1 tsp (remove) * Turnip Greens, 2.5 cup, chopped (remove) * Water, 5 cups
Directions
Saute chopped onions in oil until they are translucent. Add marjoram, stir for a moment. Add water and peas. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 45 minutes or until the peas are mushy. Add salt and greens. Cook further until greens are just cooked. One serving is 1 cup full.
