Multi-grain pancakes a la Rachary

Ingredients
1 c. white whole wheat flour, 2 T wheat germ, 2 T flaxseed meal, 1 T sugar, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 c. milk, 1 egg, 2 T canola oil, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
Mix wet and dry ingredients separately, then wisk together until just blended (do not overmix). cook on medium-high griddle until brown on both sides. Makes 8 - 10 small pancakes or 4 - 5 large pancakes. Serves approx 2.
