Curry cauliflower (heeng zeere ki gobi)

Ingredients
1 head cauliflower (1.25 lbs)2 T oilpinch asafetida (not logged)1/2 tsp cumin seed1/2 medium onion1 serrano pepper1 tsp cumin0.5 tsp coriander0.25 tsp turmeric0.25 tsp cayenne0.75 tsp salt1/2 c water2 tsp lemon juice
Directions
Break cauliflower into florets.
Heat oil, add asafetida (if using), then immediately put in cumin seeds, stir, add onion & cook until browned. Add cauliflower & serrano. Cook on medium & stir in spices. Add liquids, mix & simmer, covered until cauliflower is cooked.
