Amaretto Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Ingredients
1.5 cups of salted butter (3 sticks) Softened1 8 oz block of Cream cheese Softened3 cups sugar6 large eggs -bring to room temperature1 1/2 tsp of Vanilla Extract1/2 cup of Disorrono Amaretto3 cups of flour sifted1/8 tsp of salt1/4 to 1/2 cup of Disorrono Amaretto
Directions
Preheat oven to 300. Grease/flour Bundt pan

Cream the butter and cream cheese in mixer, 2 minutes. Slowly add sugar and mix for another 7 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, just until yellow disappears. Add the Vanilla extract and Amaretto when you add the last egg.

Sift flour and salt and slowly pour into the wet batter. Make sure you only mix till the dry ingredients until absorbed, do not overbeat. Batter will be thick

Pour into the Bundt cake. Place in middle rack of oven with a water filled 2 cup measuring cup. Bake at 300 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Place cake on a cooling rack. Pour 1/4 cup of amaretto over the cake 10 - 15 minutes after it comes out of the oven.

Remove cake pan, drizzle remaining amaretto over it.

You can leave as is or you can garnish with confectioner's sugar
