Easy Pastry Shop Apple Tart

Ingredients
Tart Shell:1/2 Cup Butter softened1/3 Cup Sugar1/2 Tsp. Vanilla1 Cup FlourCream Filling:1 Egg1/2 tsp. Vanilla8 oz. cream Cheese , softened1/4 Cup sugarTopping:3 Apples, peeled and thinly sliced1/4 Cup sugar1/2 tsp. Cinnamon1 tsp Brown sugar packed1/4 Cup Slivered almonds OR Chopped Walnuts
Directions
Tart shell:
Heat Oven to 400F/200C.
Cream the butter and sugar together
Stir in the Vanilla.
Mix in the flour to make a smooth dough.
Press into bottom of an 8 inch/ 20 cm spring form pan, giving it about a 1 inch/2.5 cm. rim.
Bake for 15 minutes untill Golden - Remove from Oven

Cream Filling:
Beat all the ingredients for the cream filling together untill smooth.
Spread evenly the Cream filling on top of the tart shell.

Topping:
Mix the apples slices with the Cinnamon and sugar.
Arrange the apples on top of the cream filling. Do not press into the filling.
Sprinkle the slivered almonds OR chopped Walnuts over the arranged Apples.
Sprinkle the Brown sugar on top

Bake until the apples as tender and golden about 40 Minutes.
Serve cold or warm with ice cream.
