Giada's Bologese - Lisa's Version

Ingredients
1 oniongarlic1 stalk raw celery1 carrot gratedolive oil - 1 Tbsp1 lb extra lean ground beef30 oz organic tomato sauce1/4 c grated romano cheesesplash of half and half or whipping cream
Directions
saute onion in olive oil until tender. Add garlic, carrots, celery and saute another 5 minutes. Add ground beef and cook thoroughly. Add tomato sauce, simmer on low for 30-45 min. Add cheese. Optional: add salt and pepper to taste and half and half or whipping cream for extra rich taste.
