Ingredients
Onions, raw, 4 cup, chopped )Carrots, raw, 4 cup, chopped )Celery, raw, 4 cup, diced )Chicken Broth, 48 fl oz )*Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, 7 cup )Spinach, frozen, 1 package (10 oz) yields )Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, small (about 4-1/2" dia) )Olive Oil, 1 tbsp )Green Beans (snap), 3.75 cup )Beans, pinto, 3.75 cup )Beans, red kidney, 3.75 cup )Pepper, black, 1 tbsp )Thyme, ground, 1 tsp )Water, tap, 3 cup (8 fl oz) )Barley, pearled, raw, rinsed 1 cup
Directions
Combine Ingredients into a 10 qt or larger pot and stir frequently on medium heat. Use your own seasoning. And rinse barley before adding. Makes 20 2 cup servings - great for freezing.
