Blueberry Banana Muffins

2 large bananas (229 g) mashed1 large egg, slightly beaten1/3 C sugar1/4 C cinnamon applesauce (I used Great Value brand)1/2 C 1% milk1 + 1/2 C fresh blueberries1 + 3/4 C whole wheat flour (I used King Arthur)2 + 1/2 tsp baking powderTopping:1 tsp sugar1 tsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
In a large bowl mix the banana, egg, sugar, applesauce, and milk together. Add the flour and baking powder and blend until well combined. Fold in the blueberries.
Spoon into a muffin pan. I used the pan that makes 12 muffins and deivided the batter evenly between them.
In a small bowl combine the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top of each muffin.
Bake for 10 mins, and check them, adjust cook time accordingly. Done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Yeild: 12 muffins @ 132.2 calories each
*This was my first time baking with whole wheat flour! I just ate one of them and they were really, really good :)
