Whole Wheat/Wheat Germ Cherry Chocolate Chunk Muffins

1 cup whole wheat flour1 cup raw wheat germ1/2 cup Truvia4 tbsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt1 jumbo egg3/4 cup 1% milk1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce1/2 cup dried cherries1/2 cup Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Stir wet ingredients together in a bowl. In a different bowl, mix together dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Gently fold in cherries and chocolate chunks.
Fill muffin cups about 2/3- 3/4 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20- 25 minute, or until edges are brown. When finished, muffin tops bounce back when pressed lightly.
Makes 12 muffins.
