Mel's Kitchen Pretzel's

Ingredients

1 Packet Self-Rising Yeast4 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour1 Large Egg1 1/2 Salt1 TBSP Sugar1 1/2 TSP Sea (or) Coarsely Ground Salt
1. Mix everything but the egg together.
2. Kneed dough until all the flour is incorporated into the dough.
3. Break dough into 2 oz pieces & roll until long enough to create a pretzel.
4. Place pretzels on a greased baking sheet and cover with a hand towel.
5. Place baking sheet w/ pretzels & towel in a warm place for 10 minutes to allow the pretzels to rise.
6. Take off hand towel & brush the beaten egg onto each pretzel & sprinkle sea salt on each pretzel.
7. Bake for 11 - 15 minutes or until pretzels are golden brown.
Serving Size: 2 oz of dough makes 1 pretzel
