Hearty Crockpot Vegetable Beef Soup

1-pound lean beef stew meat1-14.5 ounce can stewed tomatoesAbout 8 ounces baby carrots1/2 onion, chopped1-large potato, chopped1-8 ounce package sliced mushrooms1 can corn 11-12 ouncesWaterSalt and Pepper to taste
This recipe requires a 2 quart or larger crockpot.
For better color, you can brown the beef in a skillet before adding it to the crockpot. I just throw it in. Break up the stewed tomatoes with a fork. Add all the vegetables and enough water to cover everything.
Cook on high heat for 3-4 hours, or on low heat for 7-8 hours.
Before serving, season to taste with salt and pepper.
Makes 8 one-cup servings.
