2 OZ DRIED BROWN RICE ELBOW PASTA2/3 C TOMATO BASIL PASTA SAUCE1 TBSP COLAVITA EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OILSALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE (OPTIONAL)
MEASURE 2 OZ. OF DRY PASTA, COOK IT IN BOILING WATER ACCORDING TO PACKAGE INSTRUCTIONS.
DRAIN IT, TURN IT BACK INTO THE POT AND MIX IT WITH EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL.
PRE HEAT A SAUCEPAN, POUR THE TOMATO BASIL SAUCE IN. LET BOIL FOR ABOUT 2 MINUTES, THEN COVER AND SIMMER FOR 10 MORE MINUTES (IF SAUCE IS TOO THICK, ADD ABOUT 1/4 C WATER), TURN THE BURNER OFF AND REMOVE SAUCE PAN FROM HEAT.
POUR THE SAUCE ON THE ELBOW PASTA... AND ENJOY!
