Cabbage, cooked with bacon

Ingredients
4 c fresh cabbage, chopped1 c chicken broth1 slice browned bacon, cut into bites
Directions
Put broth in pot. Bring to boil as you chop cabbage. Add cabbage to broth and cover; cook on low 10-12 minutes if you like your cabbage cooked to softness. Add bacon during last half of cooking. Add salt and pepper at the table. We serve it often curried - I would use about 1.5 t curry powder for this recipe, but we like it spicy!
