My sweetie and I are not into Mt. Dew or sauerkraut, but this recipe sounded so odd that I just had to try it! It was divine! You know your meal is a hit when you're fighting over the leftovers! - 5/26/10

This was good. It wasn't the MOST FANTASTIC thing ever, but it was good and easy and I discovered SWEET HOT MUSTARD (which IS fantastic!!) My store didn't have Hickory Farms, so I got Sweet Hot Mr. Mustard- and I have used it on EVERYTHING since!!! - 6/9/08

Haven't cooked yet, but sounds interesting! Can you anything else besides soda? I don't have any soda in house but peach la croix and berry la croix! - 1/13/16

    Incredible!
Very Good! Just had this for dinner. The Kraut was cooked soft and the diet drink took away the sharp edge that it had to it. I didn't have a pork tenderloin so I just used 4 center cut boneless loin chops with the sweet hot mustard spread lightly over each. This recipe is definitely a keeper! - 3/16/14

Does it have to be Diet soda? I have a severe allergy to artificial sweeteners and can't use them in anything, including cooking. Can I just use some OJ since that is what Mt. Dew mostly is? - 4/12/12
