Turkey Kielbasa Soup

3 1/2 cups water4 chicken bouillon cubes1 16-oz. can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained3 cups shredded green cabbage3 large red potatoes, cubed1/2 cup chopped onion2 cloves garlic, minced1 lb. turkey kielbasa, diced2 Tbsp. red wine1 Tbsp. lemon juice1 1/2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped1/4 tsp. black pepper
In a 6- to 8-qt. pan over high heat, bring water, bouillon cubes, garbanzos, cabbage, potato, onion and garlic to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until potato is tender (about 10 minutes).
Add kielbasa and simmer until heated through, about 5 more minutes.
Stir in wine, lemon juice and parsley. Simmer 10 minutes longer. Sprinkle pepper over and serve. Makes 4 1.75-cup servings.
