Five Hour Beef Stew

Ingredients
2 pounds boneless round steak, trimmed of fat and cut into 1-inch cubes16 oz. can tomato sauce1 cup water1.5 tsps. saltpepper to taste2 large potatoes, peeled and cut in eights6 medium carrots, peeled and cut in 2-inch pieces1 cup coarsely chopped celery1/2 med. green pepper, coarsely chopped1 med. onion, chopped1 slice white break with crusts, torn into small pieces to thicken the liquid
Directions
Mix all ingredients in crock pot and cook for at least 5 hours on low or until meat is tender and vegetables are done. Stir a couple times during cooking period.
