Chocolate Meringue Cookies

Ingredients
3 Egg Whites (room temp.)1/8 teaspoon Cream of Tartar1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract2/3 cup White Sugar1 tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 200 degrees F (150 degrees C).
Combine egg whites, cream of tartar, and vanilla. Beat until the whites form soft peaks. Slowly add sugar; beat until stiff peaks form, and mixture becomes glossy. Fold in cocoa.
Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls on to a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 60 minutes or until hard to touch. Leave in oven when done, door shut and the oven off. the residual heat keeps them from becoming chewy. enjoy! Makes about 30 cookies
