Peaches and Cream Sherbert

Ingredients
2 cups lowfat buttermilk ( maybe yogurt would work too) 1cup Sugar2-3 cups diced fresh peaches (save juice from peaches)1 tbs vanilla extract2 tbs Lemon juice1 tsp Lemon zest
Directions
Heat Lemon juice, reserved peach juice and sugar in a pan until sugar melts. Cool down to room temp.

In a blender puree the diced peaches and slowly add buttermilk. Add and blend room temp sugar mixture.

Pour into 2 and a half ice cube trays and freeze overnight.

about 3-4 cubes per serving
