Directions
I highly recommend using primarily organic ingredients...it just gives a better flavor. 1 lb 93/7 Ground Beef1/2 Jar of Marinara Sauce1 can Tomato Paste1.5 cups of Red Kidney Beans (soaked overnight to soften)1/2 Large Red Onion coarsely chopped2 + Garlic cloves finely chopped (let sit for 10 min to active enzymes)1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce3 cups Filtered Water (add more or less as preferred)1 tbsp Cumin1 tbsp Turmeric1 tbsp Oregano2 tbsp Dried Onion Flakes1 tsp Black Pepper1 tbsp Garlic Powder1 tbsp Dried Cilantro (Fresh would be even better!)1 tsp Cayenne Powder (optional, to taste)1 tsp Salt (optional, to taste)1 tbsp flour (optional, to thicken sauce after cooking)
Combine all ingredients, except flour, in Crockpot.
Cook on low for 8 - 10 hours.
Stir in flour in the last 15 minutes to thicken sauce if needed.
Seasonings can be adjusted easily for preference. I don't usually measure anything, instead I taste at the end and adjust flavor accordingly.
