Whole grain Waffle Mix

Ingredients
4 cups whole wheat flour2 cups all-purpose flour1 cup toasted wheat germ1 cup toasted oat bran1 cup buttermilk blend powder3 tablespoons aluminum free baking powder2 teaspoons baking soda1 teaspoon saltADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS:2 eggs1 cup water2 tablespoons canola oil2 tablespoons honey
Directions
In a large bowl or zipper bag, combine the first eight ingredients. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.

To prepare waffles: Place 2 cups waffle mix in a bowl. Combine the eggs, water, oil and honey; stir into waffle mix just until moistened. Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions until golden brown.

Serving Size: makes about 4 batches of mix and 5 waffles about 6 inches per batch
