Simple Beef Stew

Beef, eye of round, 7 oz (or .200 kilos)Potato, 5 small Celery, 1 cup, diced Turnips, 2 cup, cubes Carrots, 1 cup, chopped Onions, 1 medium Peas, frozen, 1 cup Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 2 tbsp Garlic, 1 clove Flour, white, 1/3 cup Beef Boullion 3 packagesSalt, to tastePepper, black, to tasteCumin 2 tsp (optional)Montreal Steak Spice (optional and can be used instead of pepper) to tasteYellow Sweet Corn, Frozen, 0.5 cup kernels Water
Use a large cooking pot. Dice up onion and celery, sautee in the vegetable oil. Chop up the beef into stew sized pieces and add to the onion and celery. Cook until brown. Just before adding the other vegetables add the garlic and stir a couple times. Pour about 1 cup of water into the mixture and stir well to get all the juices out.
Chop up and or dice all the remaining vegetables in small cube/bite sized pieces and add to the pot. Add enough water to cover all the vegetables plus about a cup more, add and stir in powdered Beef Boullion. Bring to a boil and then turn down the heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes put flour into a separate cup or bowl and add COLD water. Stir flour into the water until all dissolved. Add to the pot and stir, continue to stir until it thickens. Once it has thickened add all desired spices and turn down the heat low simmer for another 20-25 minutes, stir occasionally to stop from stew burning on the bottom.
Serve hot with whole wheat buns.
