Dice Onions and Garlic
Put 2 TBSP Olive oil in skillet and heat to medium high
Once at correct temperature, add onions and cook for 1-2 minutes until clear
Add Garlic and cook for another minute
Add tumeric and cook 30 seconds
Add tomato sauce and 1 cup water
Add cumin, coriander, cayenne, salt and pepper to taste
Cook for approx 5 minutes
Add lentils and mix well
Cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring every so often (keep covered)
Cook until desired consistancy is achieved,
Eat with Brown rice
Serving Size: Makes 6 servings of 1/2 cup
