Li Gallette (Metis Bannock)

Ingredients
3 cups flour1 tsp salt1 Tbsp sugar2 Tbsp baking powder1/2 cup lard1 1/2 cups water
Directions
Mix dry ingedients together in large bowl. Add lard and cut in with pastry blender until incorporated. Add the water and mix with fork until almost solid. Knead with hands for 5-8 minutes. Either put in a 9x13 pan or roll 1/2 " thick and cut into 12 squares and place on baking sheet. Bake @ 375 F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
