Ingredients
2 (15 oz.) cans garbanzo beans, drained, liquid reserved2-3 T tahini (sesame butter)juice of 1-2 lemons (approx. 4-6 T)2-3 cloves minced garlic1-2 tsp. cumin1/4-1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper1/4-1/2 tsp. paprika1/4-1/2 tsp. salt
Directions
In food processor, process garbanzos until they form a course meal. Add garlic and tahini and process again. Add 2 T. of the lemon juice and the spices and process until it forms a smooth paste. Gradually drizzle in the remaining lemon juice and liquid from beans (probably half of what remained after draining garbanzos) until proper consistency is reached.

Serve with pita chips or veggies or use as a spread for sandwiches.
