Bush's Best All-American Chili

Ingredients
2 cans (16 oz.) Bush's Best Chili Beans1 lb. extra lean ground beef (93% lean)1 cup chopped onion1 cup chopped green pepper1 can (14 1/2 oz.) diced tomaotes (no salt added)1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste1/2 cup water1/2 tsp. black pepper1/2 tsp. salt1 tbsp. chili powder2 tsp. oregano1 tsp. sugar
Directions
In large pan cook beef, onion and green pepper until meat is browned. Drain excess grease. Stir in remainig ingredients. Bring to boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

May garnish with shredded cheddar cheese if desired.

Makes 6 servings.

    This is a great hearty chili, which is easy to spice up with some extra chili powder, and some diced tomatoes with dice chilies in them. Also great for the crock pot. - 1/27/11
