Stewed Apples

1/2 cup water8 cups chopped apples1 tsp lemon juice1 tbs cinnamon1 tsp nutmeg1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Combine apples, water and spices. Cook till tender. Oven or top of stove.

Optional: Add sugar an raisins to taste.
