Slower Cooker Chicken with Apple and Bacon

Ingredients
* Chicken Breast, no skin, 4 unit (yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook (remove) * Bacon, 2.5 medium slices, cooked (raw product (remove) * Leeks, 1 leek (remove) * Mushrooms, fresh, 500 grams (remove) * Apple juice, unsweetened, .5 cup (remove) * Chicken Broth, .5 cup (8 fl oz) (remove) * Honey, 1 tbsp (remove) * Thyme, ground, 1 tsp (remove) * Apples, fresh, 1 small (2-1/2" dia) (approx 4 per lb (remove) * Cornstarch, 5 grams (remove)
Directions
Brown the chicken and place in the slow cooker.
Cook the bacon and place in the slow cooker.
Saute mushrooms, leek and apple until soft.
Combine broth, honey, apple juice and thyme and pour over veg.
Bring to a boil and put in slow cooker.
Cook 4 hours on low or 1 hour on high and 2.5 hours on low.
Thicken the sauce with the cornstarch.
