Red Beans & Rice with Smoked Sausage

2 16oz cans of dark red kidney beans (apx 3 cups)14oz smoked sausage3 cups of rice2 tbs olive oil 1 large green bell pepper, chopped1 medium yellow onion, chopped1 tsp. chopped garlic
Heat large skillet or pot, and add olive oil. Saute garlic, onions, and peppers. Slice sausage. Add to skillet and brown slightly. Add rice & water for cooking rice. Bring to a boil then cover to cook rice. Once rice is cooked, add beans and mix together.
