Un-stuffed Cabbage Soup

3 cups water1 onion1 medium head of cabbage2 lbs of lean ground beef3 tbsp garlic powder1 jar of Any Ragu spaghetti sauce2 cups of medium grain white rice
Slice or chop cabbage boil in about 3 cups of water. Slice onion. Brown ground beef in separate skillet. Add sliced onion to ground beef. Add 3 tbsp of garlic powder to beef as it is cooking. Cook until beef is completely browned and onions are translucent. Drain fat. In a separate pot, cook 2 cups of rice in 4 cups of water. Boil until tender. Add all ingredients including spaghetti sauce to the cabbage and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 30-45 minutes stirring occasionally.
