Slow Cooker Chicken Chili

2 lbs (raw) chicken breast bonless and skinless2 cans or (4 cups ) of kidney beans2 large cans ( 6 cups ) of diced tomatoes1 bulb Garlic (NOT Clove Bulb)1 small onion4 tbsp chili powder (can use fresh peppers change nutrition info accordingly)1 can hormel no bean chili1 tbsp olive oil1tbsp onion powdersalt and pepper to taste
In Slow cooker on high stir in beans and tomatoes as well as hormel chili and 3 tbsp of chili powder.
In a roast pan put whole bulb of garlic and whole peeled onion and chicken breasts.
rub peeled onion and chicken breasts with tbsp of olive oil. then sprinkle on salt, pepper, tbsp onion powder and tbsp chili powder.
Cover with foil and bake for 40 mins at 350 degrees in preheated oven.
When chicken done dice and add to pot.
Slice or pull apart onion and add to pot.
cut top off garlic and squeeze gooey roasted garlic into pot.
Cook till heated through put on keep warm setting and enjoy.
