1 19 oz can black beans1 15.5 oz can kidney beans2 cups chopped tomatoes, fresh1 cup chopped onion4-6 cloves of garlic (to taste)Chili seasoning (nutrition is based on simply organic spicy chili seasoning packet)16 lean ground turkey, drained2 cups water1 15.5 oz can diced tomatoes for chilifresh herbs to taste (I used basil and parsley)
Cook and drain turkey, chop veggies, toss everything in the crock pot and come back later! Hearty spicy dinner that satisfies and has a great nutritional profile! Note that the chili seasoning I used is very spicy--opt for something milder if you're faint of heart or serving little ones.
