Filtered water 3 cup (8 fl oz) Granulated Sugar, 1 1/4 cupBrown Sugar, 1/4 cup, packed Fresh whole strawberries, 12 cupsFresh squeezed lemon juice, 1/4 cup
Add water and sugars to medium sauce pan. Put over low heat and dissolve sugar to make simple syrup, about 8-10 mins. (Do not stir to dissolve). Remove from heat, set aside. De-stem strawberries and then puree in food processor. Add puree to simple syrup and mix. Strain through sieve to remove bulk of seeds. Add fresh squeezed lemon juice, cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Add mixture to ice cream maker and follow manufactures instructions.
