Strawberry Jam Homemade

Ingredients
7# Strawberries6.5 Cu Granulated White Sugar
Directions
Remove stems;
Smash berries then add sugar;
Heat to rolling boiling then reduce heat to steady boil until Jam congeals about 45 minutes after rolling boil is reached -about an hour on the heat -stir constantly DO NOT stop and be sure to scrape sides;
Prepare ten 1/2 pint jars or five pint jars;
Fill jars and two piece jar/lids;
Cold water bath 15 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes ten 1/2 pints, 16 tbsp servings per pint
