Chicken Kebabs and Nectarine Salsa

1 tbsp brown sugar1 tbsp olive oil1 tbsp fresh lime juice2 tbsp chili powder1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp ground cumin1/2 tsp black pepper1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken breast1 large red onioncooking spray2 cups diced nectarines (about 3 nectarines can use peaches or plums)1/2 cup diced red bell pepper1/2 cup diced red onion2 tbsp diced fresh cilantro1 1/2 tbsp fresh lime juice1 minced jalapeno 1/2 tsp salt2 diced avocados
1. Combine first 9 ingredients in a shallow dish or ziplock bag; let stand at least 15 min.
2. Spray grill and heat
3. Thread 4 onion pieces and 3 chicken pieces alernately onto each of 8 skewers. Place skewers on grill coated with cooking spray. Grill 12 minutes or until done, turning occasionally.
4. Combine nectariens and next 6 ingredients in a bowl.
Gently stir in avocados.
Serving Size: 8 kebabs and salsa
