Pork Chops in White Wine Sauce

4 pork chops, 1" thick2 cloves garlic, minced1 tsp dried sage1 tsp dried rosemary1 tsp saltpepper to taste2 tsp butter1 tsp olive oil3/4 cup dry white wine
On a plate, combine the garlic, sage, rosemary, salt and pepper. Rub the mixture firmly onto both sides of the pork chops.
In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add in the pork chops and cook until browned on both sides, about 6-8 minutes total.
Add the wine to the skillet and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce to a simmer, cooking until pork chops are tender and juices run clear, about 25-30 minutes.
Remove the pork chops and bring leftover sauce to a boil over high heat and cook 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly, then serve over the pork chops.
Serving Size: Makes 4 pork chops with sauce
