MY favourite Saladdressing
- Minutes to Prepare:
- Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients
Directions
1 c red currant jelly (you also can try other jellies)1/2 c mild vinegar (white balsamic for example)1/4 c (or even less) olive oil2 c chicken broth or bouillon1-2 Tbs mustard, yellow or dijon1 Tbs ground pepper, black1 Tbs salt1 tsp minced garlic (or dried garlic powder/flakes)
Mix all the ingredients with a whisk. Done.
I always use hot broth (the jelly will solve better) and fill in glass bottles while still hot (with twist-off-lid), I store in the fridge (one at home and one in the office!) up to 3 weeks. I can get a salad from home or from the drive-thru and I donīt have to choose between "heavy-creamy" and "low in calorie and taste".
At home I always add fresh minced onions or/and herbs to the salad! Enjoy
Serving Size: makes about 8-10 servings
Number of Servings: 8
