450g Self- raising flour50g sugar110g margarine1 eggwater/milk
1. Pre-heat the oven to 200C/375F/Gas mark 6.
2. Put flour and sugar into the mixing bowl. Rub in the margarine.
3. Add the beaten egg with sufficient water/milk to make a nice soft dough.
4. Put on a floured surface and roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a knife or pastry cutter, bruch over with egg wash or a little milk and put on a floured baking tray.
5. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 15-20 minutes.
Serving Size: makes 21 at half inch height and 2 and quarter inch diamater
