Easy Penuche Brown Sugar Frosting

1/2 c butter (or margarine)1 c packed brown sugar1/4 c milk1.5 c powdered sugar
Melt butter in small saucepan. Stir in brown sugar. Heat till bubbling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and let boil for 2 minutes. Stir in milk, heat just to boil then immediately remove from heat. Cool to lukewarm. Gradually sift and mix in powdered sugar. Set pan in ice water and beat mixture until spreading consistency. Spread over cooled cake.
Serving Size: Frosts a 9X13 cake or small 2-layer cake.
