Apple Crisp

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups oatmeal2 cups flour1 cup brown sugar1/2 cup white sugar1 cup margarine1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp soda disolved in 1 tbsp of hot water12 fresh large apples1 cup sugar2 tbsp cinnamon1/2 cup walnuts
Directions
mix first 7 ingredients like pie crust. put half in bottom of 9 X 13 cake pan. peel and slice apples, add sugar and cinnamon. (i use more cinnamon than original recipe.) add to cake pan. add walnuts to remaining ingredients, (the other half of crust mixture) bake at 375 for 60 minutes. time varies if you use more apples. test at 45 minutes.
