200g Self-raising Flour100g Margarine25 or 50g caster sugar you deside the amount2 eggs large or medium25g coconut and 6 glace cherriesIf you want to try diffenent flavour enhancer you can try Mixed fruitRaisinsChocolate chipsOr mixed spices like cinimon or ginger tend to work well with all the flavour enhancers.
1) Prepare yourself- wash hands, apron on, hair tied back and wipe surfaces clean
2) Equipmet you need- scales, mixing bowl, basin, and wooden spoon, baking tray, fork, table knife, teaspoon
3) Pre-heat oven to gas number 6 electric 190 degrees c
4) Greas the baking tray with oil
5) Place the flour and margarine into a mixing bowl and combine the two together by rubbing carefully together with finger tips
6) Stir in sugar and flavour enhancer (s)
7) Break eggs into basen and mix lightlytogether with a fork
8) Add egg to the mixing bowl. Mix together with a fork to form a stiff dough. There should be NO dry bits left in the mixing bowl (you may need to add 1 or 2 tablespoons of water)
9) Divide the mixture into 12 even sized pieces on the baking tray
10) Use oven gloves to place the bakeing tray into the oven
11)Time the cakes carefully during the cooking time, they take approimatly 10 to 12 minutes
12) Cook the rock buns until golden brown
13) Remore from the baking tray with a palette knife, place onto a cooling tray until cold. Wash and dry dishes and replace everything where you found it
