Baked Tostones

Ingredients
1 medium (1 cup sliced) plantain1 tsp olive oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°. Lightly grease baking sheet with olive oil.

Peel plantains and slice into 1/2 inch slices. Place in a bowl and toss with oil. Arrange slices on the baking sheet. Depending on your oven, bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown on the bottom.

Using a tostonera mash each piece. Place mashed plantain, golden brown side up, on the baking sheet and bake for another 10 minutes or until golden brown.
