Hamburger Soup

Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef1 16oz can tomatoes, cut up2 medium onions, chopped2 medium carrots, sliced2 stalks celery, chopped1/3 cup pearl barley1/4 cup ketchup1 tbsp beef bouillon granules1 tsp seasoned salt1 tsp dried basil1 bay leaf
Directions
In a large saucepan cook beef until browned. drain fat.
Stir in remaining ingredients and add
"5 cups of water."
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hr.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Remove bay leaf.
Serves 6.
