Cabbage casserole w/ lean ground beef

Ingredients
1 small head of cabbage, chopped10 oz lean ground beef.5 lg.onion chopped.5 cup cooked barleysalt to taste1 tsp ground pepper1 tsp herbs de provance1 small sprig fresh rosemary finely chopped(.5 tsp dried)1 garlic clove5 tsp brown sugar.1 tbsp olive oil
Directions
add olive oil to frying pan, add cabbage ,salt pepperand brown sugar, fry untill cabbage wilts and sugar is melted.Set aside let cool.
In food processor add the chopped onion ,the garlic and the cooked barley ,process untill it is a fine paste.
Mix the meat and onion mixture well, add pepper ,chopped
rosemarin and herbs de provance.
Add water if the mixture is too thick.
Alternate cabbage and meat in oven proof dish .Start with the cabbage,then add meat and so on end with a layer of cabbage, spray a little oil over top (or add small pats of butter/oleo)Bake at 400. degrees for about 35 min.
serves 4.at 7.5 oz each
serve w/ potatoes or rice.
