Slow Cooker Smoked Turkey and Lentil Soup

Smoked turkey legvegetable broth1 cup each: celery, onion, green pepper, and carrots.seasoned with oregano and black pepper
In a Crockpot add:
Chopped Vegetables
Smoked Turkey Leg
Vegetable Broth
and Seasonings.
Cook on low for about 4 to 6 hours*, until meat begins to fall off the Turkey Leg.
Remove Turkey Leg from Crockpot. Remove then discard skin. Remove meat from the bone. Chop meat into cubes and return meat to the crockpot.
Add Lentils and cook an additional 2 to 3 hours*, until Lentils are tender.
*** Times depend greatly on your crockpot wattage.
***If you have a low-wattage crockpot, you may add Lentils at the start.
Serving Size: makes 16 one cup servings
