How is this Sugar Free? Evaporated Milk has 3 grams of sugar per 30 milliliters/2 TBSP/slightly less than 1 oz. So in a 12 oz can its ~36 grams of sugar. If there are 8 pieces of pie, thats 4.5 grams per piece. If there are 6 pieces of pie, that 6 grams of sugar per piece. Calculate carefully! - 11/25/09

What happens if I omit the splenda all together? I dont like splenda or any other type of artificial sweetner. We'll see what happens. - 10/13/09

I have not made this but one that is similar. Instead of eggs, use eggbeaters for no cholesterol and skip the crust. You can still bake in a glass pie plate or individual size custard cups. - 11/15/08
