Pasta with Caramelized onions, zucchini, and radicchio

Ingredients
8 oz whole wheat pasta (I used Barilla Plus Farfalle) Radicchio, 3 cup, shredded 1 medium zucchini, sliced Onions, raw, 1 large, sliced thin balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon Butter, unsalted, .5 tbsp Olive Oil, 1 1tsp Goat Cheese, Soft, 2 oz Salt, 1 tsp pepper, to taste
Directions
In saucepot, prepare pasta as label directs in boiling salted water. Drain pasta, reserving 1/4 cup pasta cooking water. Return pasta to saucepot.

In a 12" skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat until hot. Add onion and cook until browned and soft, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add zucchini, sautee 2-3 minutes. Add vinegar, pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon salt; cook 1 minute longer. Increase heat to medium-high; add radicchio and cook 2 to 3 minutes until wilted. Add onion mixture, and reserved pasta cooking water to penne; toss to mix well. Serve, sprinkled with cheese.
