Broccoli Ramen Noodle Salad

Ingredients
1 (16 ounce) package broccoli coleslaw mix2 (3 ounce) packages oriental flavored ramen noodles1 bunch green onions, chopped1 cup unsalted peanuts or slivered almonds (optional)1 cup sunflower seeds1/4 cup white sugar or Splenda1/4 cup vegetable oil1/3 cup vinegar or cider vinegar2 tbsp soy sauce1 cup dried cranberriesDash garlic powder
Directions
In a large salad bowl, combine the slaw, broken noodles and green onions.

Whisk together the sugar, oil, soy sauce, vinegar and ramen seasoning packets. Pour over salad and toss to evenly coat. Refrigerate until chilled; top with peanuts, almonds, cranberries and sunflower seeds just before serving.

    So super yummy! I had peanuts and almonds in my freezer, so i did half and half along w/ the other toppings. Great texture and it gets better the longer it sits in the fridge. - 9/6/11
