Sour Cream Scones

Ingredients
.25 cup sour creamZest of 1 orange, (about .5 tbsp).25 cup freshly squeezed orange juice1.25 cups all-purpose flour1.5 tsp baking powder.5 tsp kosher salt3 tbsp sugar3 tbsp margarine, cut into pieces1/4 cup dried currants, optionalmilkcinnamon-sugar for topping, for topping
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray baking pan with nonstick spray. Set aside
2. In a small bow, combine sour cream, orange zest and orange juice Set aside.
3 Sift or whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt & sugar. Cut in the margarine with a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles course meal & all visible lumps of margarine are gone. Stir in sour cream mixture & the currants if using.
4. Turn the dough out and press into a 3/4" thick circle. Place dough on the baking sheet. Cut into 8 wedges. Brush the tops with milk & sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack .
