Ingredients
Directions
1 - Marie Callender's Frozen Pie Shell1 cup - Cubed Ham1.5 cups - Fancy Shredded Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Cheese1 - 10 oz. Package of Frozen Chopped Spinach4 - Large Eggs1 cup - 1% Milk1/2 tsp. - Dry, Ground Basil1/2 tsp. - Onion Powder1/2 tsp. - Garlic Powder1/2 tsp. - Black Pepper1/8 tsp. - Table Salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Remove frozen Pie shell from freezer, and place on cookie/baking sheet.
Pour 1 cup Cubed Ham and 1.5 cups of Shredded Cheese into Pie shell, and set aside.
In large mixing bowl, add 4 large eggs, 1 cup 1% Milk, and the Basil, Onion and Garlic Powder, Black Pepper, and Salt. Mix ingredients well.
Remove Frozen Chopped Spinach from freezer. Open and place in a separate bowl, and place that bowl in a colander. Thaw under cold running water. Once completely thawed, drain well. ( I pressed the spinach in the colander to remove as much water as possible, as to not cause added moisture to the quiche itself. If its too wet the quiche will not thicken as well.)
Add drained spinach to egg/milk mixture and blend well, ensuring even distribution.
Pour Egg mixture over cubed ham and cheese in the Pie shell.
You may need to help smooth the top with the back of a spoon to distribute the spinach more evenly.
Place Pie shell while on the baking/cookie sheet in middle rack of oven, and bake at 350 degrees, for 45 - 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center of Quiche comes out clean. Allow to set for 10 min. before serving. Enjoy!♥
