Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Ingredients
2 1/2 pound boneless beef chuck roast, fat trimmed1/3 cup A-1 Steak Sauce1 packet dry Onion Soup Mix1/3 cup Water3 large onions, quartered3 cups carrots, cut in 1 inch pieces
Directions
Blend steak sauce, water, and onion soup mix. Set aside.

Place roast in slow cooker. Surround roast with carrots and onions. Pour steak sauce/water/soup mixture over roast.

Cook on high for 6 hours.

Makes 8 servings.

    Very good! I use the same recipe, except LOTS of carrots, since they are low-calorie and I love them! And never would have thought of using the steak sauce. It really added alot of flavor to it! I always throw all the leftovers back into the crock pot for soup the next night! - 3/23/09
